Indian Govt has banned popular e-commerce app AliExpress, along with 42 other apps. AliExpress is owned by Alibaba, the Chinese e-commerce site that provides a platform for millions of small business owners to sell their products online, globally from anywhere including India.
The online service was launched in 2010. Most of the start-ups and small business dealers from India rely on AliExpress and Alibaba due to its cost-effective product and quality as well as quantity.
The primarily Alibaba Group operates in India and has also made several investments in the country.
Can I order from AliExpress in India after ban?
Is AliExpress shipping to India right now? The answer is No and nor Alibaba delivering in India, A quick glance on the AliExpress website, which still can be accessible makes it evident that the company is currently not accepting any orders from customers residing in India and nor shipping any products to India.

How to buy from AliExpress in India after ban?
This is the currently most asked question in Google and there is no straightforward answer to it. However, AliExpress Indian users were able to buy products “unofficially” from AliExpress sellers.
Some of AliExpress Indian users are placing an order outside AliExpress. A Reddit user tells his story on r/Aliexpress, He messaged a seller via AliExpress (using VPN) and asked if they would ship to India ‘unofficially’. The seller agreed to ship the electronic item at the same price. He paid the seller via PayPal since it offers Buyer Protection. He bought a low-value item. He also suggests to being cautious as the chances of being scammed with this method are very high.
His order was shipped after a few days via Singapore Post. It reached his place in about 15 days. No custom or delivery charges were incurred.
Since shipping from China is still happening in India it makes sense. However, it also raised the chances of being scammed and it can happened that your product might not reach your destination. Here is what you can do to protect yourself from being scammed.
1 Always choose the seller on the basics of a very high rating, not whose selling cheapest of all.
2 Choose to pay only via PayPal transaction as no other payment method gives Buyer protection (PayPal accept Debit cards too)
3 If the Seller increases the price of the product or adds Shipping Charges then do not deal with the Seller, instead, try any other seller.
4. Ask the seller to ship the product via free shipping channels like Singapore post, China post, Malaysia Post, etc.
Ship AliExpress products with Freight Forwarder
Another method you can use to get your product shipped to India is to use Freight Forwarder. A Package or Freight Forwarder is a company that organizes shipments for individuals or corporations to get goods from the manufacturer or producer (in this case AliExpress) to a market and customer. It also gives you 10 days of free product storage in their Warehouse.
It does cost you extra for 1-lb or 0.5Kg package around $7-$8 almost Rs 600. It does look costly for tiny items whose end value is under $3 but it can be a great saving option for item value more than $20. You can use Freight Forwarder like; buy and ship, Anytime Mailbox, etc

Although you can still buy product from sites like banggood and others as they are exempted from the ban list. Overall, buying products from AliExpress is still not possible until unless Government lifts the ban and it doesn’t seem to happen in 2022 also.
