Xiaomi launched its new flagship, the Mi 11 series in China yesterday but without the charger. Xiaomi is also following Apple’s footsteps to protect the environment. Xiaomi says too many chargers will result in too much plastic.

As we know, Xiaomi Mi 11 does not ship with a charger and cable in the box. Xiaomi did not pull out any tricks but surprised fans by announcing a more customer-friendly way to get Free Charger with Xiaomi Mi 11

# As per reports, the consumer who buys the Mi 11 Glass variant will be asked whether they want a charger at no extra cost.

# The consumers who opt for a Mi 11 leather model will receive the charger for free without having to ask for it.

# Xiaomi has clarified to Android Authority

“As for the in-box charger removal, the announcement is for Mainland China market. Xiaomi will be offering two versions, one with smartphone only, and the other with the smartphone and a separate 55W GaN charger as a bundle, both at the same price”

It means, Although Xiaomi Mi 11 won’t come with a charger but users can choose the other version that comes with a 55W GaN charger without spending any money. It is a more consumer-friendly move than Apple.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Specification

Mi 11 comes with a 6.81-inch OLED screen with support for QHD+ resolution with refresh upto 120Hz and supports 240Hz touch response rate.

Under the heart, the new Xiaomi flagship comes with the Snapdragon 888 SoC. As per camera, it comes with a 108-megapixel main camera and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 5-megapixel telephoto macro sensor. The Mi 11 can also record video in 8K.

It is powered by a 4,600mAh battery which promises a full day of usage. The charging comes with a 55W adapter which can charge the phone in 45 minutes. The device also supports reverse wireless charging at 10W speeds.
