Mahindra Scorpio

Goenka further added, “We are capable of upgrading the vehicle to whatever standards that may be sought, including having a more powerful engine on board as well as other security needs.”
One should know that Mahindra already caters to the Indian military, and its Defense Land Systems arm also modifies regular models to speciality security vehicles.
BMW 760Li high-security limousine
Previously For a long time, the iconic Hindustan Motors’ Ambassador sedan had been the official Car for Prime Ministers. The switch-over to the German brand, BMW, happened around 2003, during the tenure of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Increased threat perception from terrorist organizations and availability of highly-specialized armoured vehicles prompted the establishment to opt for the German brand, with each vehicle costing several crores of rupees.
The fleet of the Prime Minister is understood to have more than half a dozen BMW 760Li high-security limousines (some are used as decoy vehicles) while having around a dozen BMW X5 SUVs that are used by the SPG (Special Protection Group).
This BMW 7 series can run for kilometres even on flat tyres and are fitted with advanced heat sensors to ward off missiles and bombs as well, say sources. While the fuel tanks are made such that they don’t explode during an attack, its cabin also turns into a gas-proof chamber and ensures oxygen supply to secure the occupant in cases of gas attacks, a source familiar with the vehicle said.
These vehicles offer a high level of sophistication and guard against attacks from heavy-calibre ammunition and explosives. The optimized armour plates are made from incredibly strong special steel and fit the Car’s bodywork like a second skin. The entire interior is sheathed in an innovative combination of materials that forms an impenetrable second skin. Among the numerous safety features are run-flat tyres, a self-sealing fuel tank, an attack alarm and an intercom system, enabling the occupants to communicate with the outside world without leaving the vehicle or opening the doors or windows.

Range Rover Sentinel (Former)
Prime Minister Narendra Modi currently uses a Range Rover Sentinel as his main commuter. He shifted to this SUV from a bulletproof BMW 7-series some time ago. The favorite sitting position of Narendra Modi in Range Rover Sentinel is the front seat due to the large windshield!

The new exact SUV assigned to PM Modi is an armoured version of the 2010 Range Rover Sentinel, which as standard, is powered by a Jaguar-sourced 5.0-litre, supercharged V8 engine which generates 375bhp and 508Nm of torque and can do a 0-100kmph in under 10 seconds. The engine comes mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox with a 4×4 wheel drive system.
The Sentinel is SVO’s first official production armored Range Rover. The Land Rover was isolated from all sides by 360-degree armor protection in case something bad happened. It gets blast protection in all directions and can shelter occupants from up to 15kgs of TNT explosive on the side door.
The Sentinel can withstand up to two DM-51 grenades dropped simultaneously on its roof while keeping our Prime Minister safe and sound on the inside!
Even Sub-machine gun cannot penetrate its armor or front grill as it can withstand up to 7.62mm armor-piercing incendiary rounds and keep moving. Additionally, the Glass is also bulletproof.
Around nine cars are to be in Modi’s cavalcade apart from a unit of bomb squad vehicles. Out of these, at least two are likely to be identical BMWs to act as decoys and another five BMWs and others for the escorts. The SPG will also enhance the dummy routes for the PM’s convoy from that of Manmohan Singh due to their threat perception.
The SPG is also received the first unit of the Air India One, the call-sign of any aircraft carrying the Prime Minister of India, to suit the security assessment and travel needs of Narendra Modi. He is known to be a frequent traveler for work purposes.
Mercedes-Maybach S650 Guard [Currently 2022]
The Narendra Modi Security Division (SPG) has improved the PM’s car fleet once again. The Mercedes-Maybach S650 Guard is a new addition to Narendra Modi’s security team. The same car Maybach S650 Nick Jonas Gifted to Priyanka Chopra. However, Priyanka Chopra car doesn’t have same feature as PM’s Maybach S650.
The Mercedes-Maybach S650 Guard is the car with the highest level of armoured protection. According to sources, the vehicle’s improved glass and body shell can withstand bullets and can endure an onslaught from AK-47 rifles. It is the pinnacle of civilian special protection vehicles, with the highest VR10 ballistic protection level currently available for civilian vehicles.
The Mercedes-Maybach S650 Pullman Guard of Prime Minister Narendra Modi can withstand a 15 tonne TNT explosion from a distance of two metres. It is coated with a specific substance that seals the holes automatically in the event of a puncture. Boeing’s famous AH64 Apache attack helicopters are made of the same material.

The vehicle is powered by a 6.0-litre twin-turbo V12 engine that produces 516 horsepower and 900 Nm of peak torque. The top speed is limited to 160 kilometres per hour.
